VIBE: Polynesian tropical, vibrant, intimate

Shailey + Sammy contacted us about planning their elopement in four weeks, our response? HELL YEAH! Inspired by the beach and the grooms Samoan side, this intimate ceremony only had twelve guests which included their parents, children, and closest friends.

The vibrant yet romantic color palate of palm leaf green, white, pale peach, fuchsia, and gold compliment both the oceanfront setting and the grooms Polynesian culture. It was carried through the boho rentals from Sundrop Vintage in the lounge and sweetheart table, and through the lush tropical floral arrangements by Joy of Bloom. The paper goods were created completely custom to their love story. Loren with Four Things Paper hand painted every piece of all the paper goods. A super fun watercolor map showed Shailey + Sammy’s travels from Utah to California, which included a custom illustrated timeline with the couples important dates: when they first met, fell in love, leading up to this magical day when they said ‘I DO’ – so creative!

With such a small guest count, the ceremony was kept comfortable and intimate. Shailey + Sammy’s guests sat cozy enjoying appetizers and the cool ocean air before ceremony began on a floor-seated lounge filled with vintage rugs, pillows, and pouf before the half-circle foliage altar.

At the Sweetheart table, they sat on vintage iron chairs under a bohemian umbrella from Sundrop Vintage – chowing down to quite a feast! New Food Tuesdayz created the most delicious Polynesian-inspired menu. The custom macramé dessert wall by Macrama with donuts and cookies was so rad!

The photos below are too good. Check them out!
